WHAT IS IT ALL ABOUT?
Coffee Cat started out as a project to incorporate Catnip Essential Oil into a fragrance.
The first version used a HUGE dose of catnip and it smelled super sharp but made my family's cat super happy. We saved some video footage of the cats massaging the rugs and enjoying life. The cats loved this creation but the owners wanted something more wearable.
I combined Catnip from Canada and Italy with 3 forms of coffee. Columbian coffee essential oil, Coffee CO2 from Italy, and a tincture of ethically sourced Kopi Luwak coffee beans. I also used civet paste to reinforce the animalic touches in this perfume. This ingredient is sourced from an Ethiopia where the farmer follows our standards of ethics and does not harm or treat the animals cruel.
This perfume balances warm, bitter, savory notes with hints of fresh sweetness by using lychee, bergamot, and amber instead of creamer so if you like your coffee fragrances black, try this one out! This one is especially fun for me to create because the perfume's alcohol/solvent is entirely made up of the civet and kopi luwak tincture!
