One of my childhood friends has a Deaf and nonverbal mom — someone who has always shown me quiet support since I was little. She hadn’t worked in a long time and mostly stayed at home, so when we started working together through perfumery, it became something she truly enjoyed.
Right now, we’re taking a little break so she can rest and enjoy some time off — but I’m proud that this space gave her a sense of purpose and joy.
