COFFEE CAT
OLFACTIVE NOTES:
TOP: Catnip, Lychee, Bergamot
HEART: Civet, Coffee, Tobacco
BASE: Ambrette, Sandalwood, Oakmoss
WHAT IS IT ALL ABOUT?
Coffee Cat started as a project to utilize Catnip Essential Oil.
I mixed Catnip from Canada and Italy with three kinds of coffee smells: Colombian coffee, Italian Coffee, and a special coffee called Kopi Luwak. To make it smell a little animal-like, I added something called civet paste, but we made sure it was made the right way and didn't hurt any animals.
This perfume has warm and bitter smells, like coffee, and a bit of sweetness from lychee, bergamot, and amber. If you like your coffee without cream, you might like this.
I imagine a cat walking into a cafe and asking for their morning brew. It's fresh green opening combined with coffee wakes the wearer up before it dries down into a textured amber full of bergamot, lychee, and woods. The oakmoss, tobacco, ambrette civet and sandalwood adds to the sepia colorscape I imagine in this cafe.
